But I also love your story. Having gone through much the same journey through uncoolness and alcohol and meditation, I definitely relate.

I remember roller skating down in my basement with my best friend since childhood. Neither of us was very cool, and I said that if either one of us made into the cool crowd, we could bring in the other. It was a pact.

The next year, I started drinking and quickly found myself in the upper echelon of seventh grade society. And my best friend, who lived across the street? Suffice to say, we never roller skated together again.
